Most leadership programmes produce participants.
Very few produce leaders.

Closing that gap has been my life’s work for nearly two decades. I founded Matadors Leadership Institute because I believed — and still believe — that Africa is not short of young people willing to lead.

We are short of the infrastructure, the systems, and the long-cycle investment that turns willingness into capacity. That same conviction has driven my policy work, my writing, and every stage I have stood on.

Let’s be in conversation.

If you work in development, governance, education, or social innovation — and you believe that investing in people is the highest-leverage thing any institution can do — I would like to hear from you. If you are a young person ready to be intentional about your growth — there is a community here for you.
